In this chapter of Les Misérables the author writes about diocese of Digne is very difficult for the Bishop because of the lack of transportation. The Bishop visits all of the small villages and if he sees a negative quality such as harm and other stuff he uses another village with positive qualities. They use the positive quality village as an example for the negative village. Every village had a different example to follow.

What I have learned so far in chapter 2 is how the Bishop helped the people who were going through poverty. M. Myriel is like a hero to the people. He gave all his earrings to charity and only kept what he needs. He decides to use his power as bishop for goods and charges the rich for services and gives the earrings back to the poor.

1. So, in the beginning of the story about M. Myriel didn't have a connection to the bigger picture why is he telling it?  2. Is there a much deeper meaning of kindness?

 Hugo wrote this to let everyone know about how cruel this world is. First of all people have passed laws and still can't live good in this world. Many people in this world just ignore what is going on in this world even the government. There are still people that are ignorants and don't mind what others think.

The reason Victor Hugo was to show how many of the problems that were existing back in the days still exist till today. For example, the degradation of man through poverty, women through hunger (poverty), and children through lack of hope. As long as these problems exist people will still have to suffer. Les Miserables is a book that inspires people.

 I've encountered a heart symbol, compassion, and health. The heart symbol can represent love. A tree has a representation of family, and harmony. The green light may represent Gatsby's hopes and dream with Daisy. Some ways people and animal are similar is that we eat, sleep, think, and communicate. We also have similarities on how our bodies work. One major way people are different from every other animal is the way they can self-reflect. Storytelling can help people organize in large numbers because they all share ideas and show connections. 

                               A recent example of why this is relevant is the act that they're thinking about passing  which is about sex offenders/rape. There are three main topics I want to talk about in this essay. One is about rape, then pedifile, lastly law makers.                              To begin with there are many cruel people in this world that can simply ruin someone's life. I was reading this post about a guy who had raped his own daughter that was only 9 years old. The little girl has a future and after having to be raped maybe she doesn't wanna live anymore. Imagine how bad she might feel inside. No one in this world deserves to be treated bad or taken advantage of.                               Secondly, there are many pedifiles in this world. These people don't think about younger child's life. They should be with ladies the same age as them not ruin a little girl's life. In addition the government is so naive that they can't even put a

 The hardest part of having to start school during a pandemic is not fully learning a subject. The thing I've enjoyed from school during this pandemic is that my teachers give me a whole week to turn my assignments in. My goals in this course is to get better at writing essays. One thing I want to stop is procasinating. I expect to earn an A in this semester report card.
