THE MOVIE AND THE BOOK

For most part of the movie that I watched it wasn't to different from the book. The book wasn't too interesting I liked the movie more. In general I don't like reading books. I can watch a movie but after a while I get sleepy. This movie was interesting it had a lot of music and all characters had different characteristics. I know the movie wasn't too new it was like old because of the time period it happened. The book didn't really interest me because it had like a lot of parts that weren't complete. For the most part the movie was interesting better than the book.

FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

This semester was unlike any other semester because everything was online and we didn't get the chance to see each other physically. Something different we did since the beginning of this year is the fact we had to do our work on our own and just write out our thoughts on our blogs. I personally didn't know that we can have our own blogs which kind of surprised me. It's just something different I haven't done with any of my teachers and doing these blogs is something new to me. I can express all my thoughts through the blog. Also, I can relate to some of my classmates and know I'm not the only one feeling the same way. I didn't really like having class virtually for me I can't focus or pay attention because I get distracted by the most easiest things. I tried learning all that I can but it's different when we are physically together we can understand each other better. In school teachers teach you well and you can understand each course better

LES MIS BK 2 CH 7

In this chapter Jean Valjean was being sent to prison for stealing a bread. He believes the punishment is too harsh because I mean 19 years of just stealing something because you're trying to survive is cruel. The society had failed Jean and that's why he hated it. Prison turned Jean into pained man who later became sad and empty. He was known as a very dangerous man who can hurt others. This wouldn't make sense for him to be around the Bishop but since the Bishop has a warm heart he is willing to help him.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 6

In this chapter we have an idea to why Jean Valjean is who he is. I mean if you were an orphan you would probably feel guilty. As we know Jean Valjean was an orphan he lost his remaining family. He's probably sad, broken, and empty. We all know that he ended up in prison and over the years he accumulated a greater sentence.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 5

In this chapter Jean Valjean asked someone some eerie questions. This didn't make the Bishop think bad about this man instead he just headed to the garden to meditate. The Bishop's faith allowed him to trust this man he was housing and be able to live calm with no worries.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 4

In this chapter Jean Valjean has a mean and after he finishes eating it he tells the Bishop how the people who rejected him had better tables than him. The Bishop is not shocked from the words of Valjean he just treated the man with respect.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 3

In this chapter the Bishop has an interesting interaction with Jean Valjean. So the Bishop had welcomed someone to his house and treated him as if he was to treat anyone with need. Jean Valjean was curious because the Bishop had not yell or kick the man out. Madame Magloire does not trust this man and hesitates to place out their full set of silverware.

LES MIS BK 2 CH 2

In this chapter it talks about how Madame Magloire talks bad about the outsiders and persuades the Bishop to get the locks for the door so that they will be safe. The bishop doesn't listen so he doesn't end up putting the locks and someone begins to knock and he welcomes them in.
